 Three Times A Lady

Sweet Beautiful Lady, the mare that tested my limits, improved my feel and timing, the horse who taught me how to persevere, and the true meaning of patience. The horse who I thought would be easy to let go, but who I ended up bidding on in the auction, and the last horse for whom I’ve shed tears when I loaded her up and sent her on.

I was so proud of how she overcame her fears and learned to trust. She is so strong and beautiful, like steel forged from the fires of life, or a diamond formed under pressure.

When she left me to go to her new home as a foxhunter in Vermont, I always thought I’d see her again or buy her back someday when I got the chance, but I recently got the news that she caught the eye of Silke in Germany, and that she was on her way! Imagine that, Lady on a plane to Germany! She has seen more of the world than I have at this point!!!

I am so proud of sweet Lady girl, and I am so excited for her future, even though I probably will never be a part of it <3 And I ‘m ecstatic that we are still getting updates, even from so far away!!!!
