ABOUT

Maddie Hofmeister has a passion for working with horse and rider, with the goal of equipping them with the skills they need for success as a team.

She has been competing successfully in Extreme Mustang Makeover competitions since a young age, which requires trainers tame an untouched mustang, and take them from wild to mild in just 100 days. Ever since, she has been committed to helping increase adoptions of wild horses, by training horses and educating the public, through clear and constant communication.

As a former 4-H leader, and a member of the highly successful 2019 Congress Finalist Hippology/ National Champion Horse Judging Team, she realizes the importance of leading and educating the next generation of horse enthusiasts. She is committed to helping educate equestrians, and help those willing to put in the work to develop from riders into horsemen.

While Maddie’s main focus is working with troubled horses, and her passion is riding and showing the “underdogs”, she has a history of competing and coaching in All Around, Open, and 4-H events, including Western Pleasure, Showmanship, Horsemanship, Trail and Ranch Riding. Additionally, as a youth she had a competitive record on the AQHA and PtHA circuits in Hunt Seat Equitation, Hunter Under Saddle and Western Showmanship. She enjoys starting colts and has experience restarting OTTB’s, training donkeys, and working with driving, liberty, and trick horses.

Maddie has a great deal of respect for the time and training equestrians of all different backgrounds put into their horses, and strives to start solid horses and riders with good foundations, so that they can grow to succeed and have fun, no matter the direction they go.

Madeline is committed to continually learning and improving her horsemanship and skills, and believes that it is a never ending journey to learn to understand horses. She strives to work with horses in the most natural, effective ways possible, developing horses and their riders mentally and physically with the ultimate goal of helping horses and humans to find hope, help, and inspiration.

My mission is to provide hope to every horse and human I can, by educating and inspiring riders to better understand, communicate, and work with their horses. I believe that true horsemanship is a journey of always trying to learn how to better understand and educate our horses in order to provide them with the best future we possibly can. I believe that horses are a window to our souls, and that they are a gift given to us by God to help us learn more about His perfect love if we will open our hearts and listen.
